Vehicle Management Superintendent (VMS) is responsible for planning, programming, managing, supervising, and coordinating the Client’s vehicle fleet management, maintenance, repair, and service activities globally. The incumbent ensures all assigned vehicles are available, dependable, and safe always. The VMS oversees the Client’s global vehicle fleet maintenance, repair, and service program and ensures compliance in law and DoD policy with respect use and vehicle operator care, maintenance, and service. This individual may function independently or lead and manage a team of personnel who plans, organizes, manages, and provides non-standard global vehicle fleet management, maintenance, and logistics support services. The incumbent serves as project officers or project team leads ensuring the timely repair of assigned vehicles, monitor contract, and warranty repairs and develop long and short-range plans and programs to keep client vehicle maintenance schedules on track. The VMS also oversees delayed maintenance, accident and abuse programs and monitors including maintain vehicle historical data and records.
