About The Position

Role Description The Financial Operations Lead translates platform spend into unit economics, ROI, and optimization opportunities. The role ensures disciplined investment governance and sustained value realization across the Veeva Platform. It provides enterprise-level cost transparency, financial governance, and value realization tracking for the Veeva platform. This position operates at the platform and process level, connecting cost, outcomes, and adoption across divisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare, biotech, IT, or the technology industry.
  • Experience partnering with Procurement / vendor governance stakeholders and translating financial governance into practical operating mechanisms (Show back/chargeback recommendations, savings tracking).

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage platform unit economics and TCO baselines
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional leadership forums; comfortable driving transparency and cadence-based reporting.
  • Lead cost optimization initiatives and optimization sprints
  • Define showback and chargeback frameworks
  • Streamline procurement processes and reduce change-order risk
  • Define and track platform KPIs and OKRs
  • Report value realization progress to senior leadership
