VIRTUAL CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER Purpose The Virtual Chief Information Officer collaborates with and advises clients’ IT departments and performs the same functions as a conventional CIO. The goal of this position is to formulate strategic IT goals, assist with planning a client’s IT budget, and provide forward thinking solutions.

Information Systems Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or 10+ years related experience in professional IT or Cybersecurity experience.
Reading comprehension
Knowledge of current compliance landscape and how compliance requirements affect businesses (e.g. HIPAA, PCI DSS, CJIS, CMMC, GLBA)

Nice To Haves

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations v3 certification or higher
CompTIA Security+ certification or higher.
Experience with SIEM platforms, firewall management, and endpoint detection and response platforms.
Experience with the security industry.

Responsibilities

Work with clients and Client Success Managers to create technology roadmaps to bring clients to Corsica and industry standards.
Proactively develop and nurture opportunities within assigned accounts, identifying and planning growth across the Corsica services portfolio and for the overall success of the accounts
Develop and manage Corsica’s post-sales relationship for Cybersecurity and ITSM assigned accounts.
Ensure that security and managed IT services are being delivered to assigned clients according to agreement terms.
Provide demonstrations of security solutions and services.
Work to understand the current Corsica Cybersecurity offerings and how they could mitigate client risks.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in security threats channel on Teams.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the technical capabilities of assigned clients in order to provide the proper security and technical recommendations.
Assist clients with becoming more competitive through technology to drive up revenue, cut costs, and increase business continuity.
Build and maintain strong, trusted advisor relationships with key contacts within assigned accounts.
Be a good listener and adapt to making connections between business needs and technology solutions.
Provide leadership during IT budget planning.
Ability to identify potential areas that could be susceptible to cybersecurity breaches.
Update/Maintain Sales Opportunities, Activities and detailed time sheets on a weekly basis.
