About The Position
The successful candidate will be working with the other Valve Techs and craftsman in an on-site central repair shop, disassembling valves for repair, cleaning and inspecting parts, developing work scopes, & reassembling valves to client specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 2- 5 years in Valve Tech Positions
- Relief valve experience required
Responsibilities
- Following all shop procedures and safety rules without exception
- Consistently and accurately identify valve types
- Calibrate test gauges
- Consistently and accurately reading precision measuring tools, and operate valve shop equipment: drill presses, band saws, test stands
- Reading & understanding drawings and repair manuals
- Troubleshooting and providing failure analysis on valve repairs
- Performing valve repairs, document and calibrations of Conventional PSV, Pilot PSV, PRD or Control Valves and Hydro Test
- Drawing detailed sketches of various valve parts when needed
