About The Position

The successful candidate will be working with the other Valve Techs and craftsman in an on-site central repair shop, disassembling valves for repair, cleaning and inspecting parts, developing work scopes, & reassembling valves to client specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum 2- 5 years in Valve Tech Positions
• Control Valve experience required
• Selected candidates must be able to complete the following physical functions including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and other repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Following all shop procedures and safety rules without exception
• Consistently and accurately identify valve types
• Calibrate test gauges
• Consistently and accurately reading precision measuring tools, and operate valve shop equipment: drill presses, band saws, test stands
• Reading & understanding drawings and repair manuals
• Troubleshooting and providing failure analysis on valve repairs
• Performing valve repairs, document and calibrations of Conventional PSV, Pilot PSV, PRD or Control Valves and Hydro Test
• Drawing detailed sketches of various valve parts when needed
