As a Value Stream Specialist, you will play a critical role in executing the day-to-day operations of a defined value stream, ensuring alignment across production planning, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and logistics. Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in operations, project management, or related field within a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience within the aerospace industry or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Working experience with electronic systems or components manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing or program review activities.
  • Experience with basic production configuration management, planning principles and ERP system tools (i.e. SAP).

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of value stream operational plans, ensuring alignment with program and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate across production, supply chain, quality, engineering, and materials teams to meet delivery commitments.
  • Assist in maintaining production schedules and build plans, including monitoring progress and identifying risks.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics (delivery, cost, quality, and schedule adherence).
  • Support monthly sales forecasting and performance tracking activities.
  • Help drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve production and supply chain issues.
  • Contribute to manufacturing transition and rate readiness activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
  • Support communication of operational status to internal leadership and, as appropriate, external customers.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve flow within the value stream.
