As the Value Stream Operations Lead, you will serve as the primary point of accountability for end-to-end performance across assigned value streams—driving alignment across production planning, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and logistics to meet program milestones, ensure successful product industrialization, and deliver high-quality products on time and at cost. This role supports Boeing Commercial programs with a strong emphasis on operational execution, manufacturing performance, and cross-functional leadership.

Requirements

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
Experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or production planning within a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Working experience leading programs or projects with responsibility for schedule, cost, and performance outcomes.
Working experience within manufacturing operations, including rate readiness, capacity planning, and constraint management.
Experience with basic production configuration management, planning principles and ERP system tools (i.e. SAP).

Responsibilities

Own and drive end-to-end value stream performance, ensuring alignment across planning, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and logistics to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
Develop and execute integrated operational plans, including production, material readiness, and capacity planning, to support program milestones and rate readiness
Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, cost performance, inventory, and quality metrics; drive accountability through data-driven decision making
Partner with supply chain and operations teams to identify constraints, mitigate risks, and implement recovery plans to ensure continuity of supply and production flow
Lead manufacturing transition activities from development to production, ensuring build plan readiness, risk mitigation, and successful product industrialization
Prepare and communicate monthly forecasts, sales performance, and operational status to internal leadership and external customers
Act as a primary point of contact to the customer, along with the Value Stream Lead, for operational discussions.
Establish robust control and reporting systems to monitor progress against plans and business metrics.
Formulate and drive plans, root cause and corrective actions, recovery plans and projections, based on analysis of program metrics and status.
