About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager. This role is onsite at our Washington, PA facility. Relocation within the United States is provided for this position. Washington, PA is the home of the Eaton Crouse-Hinds commercial outlet box facility which manufactures steel boxes, covers, and prefabricated electrical assemblies. Manufacturing 1.3 million units per week, this highly automated and fast paced environment places a high value on talented professionals that are focus on problem solving and efficiency. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Eaton is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead the Ruff-IN value stream for a highly complex engineered to order (ETO) product line. This role owns safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity results while developing a high performing team of supervisors and hourly employees. You will coordinate closely with Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure reliable flow, rapid issue resolution, and world class customer delivery performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Own the Value Stream
  • Build and maintain current state and future state value stream maps for Ruff-IN across fabrication, kitting, assembly, inspection, and material handling.
  • Establish the management system (tier meetings, visual KPIs, daily accountability) to drive performance and problem solving.
  • Deliver Results (SQDIP)
  • Achieve targets for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.
  • Own the cost structure for the value stream, including scrap, rework, overtime, and conversion cost.
  • Plan Capacity & Sequence Work
  • Collaborate with Planning and the Product Line on capacity modeling, constraints, and load leveling for high mix/low volume demand.
  • Manage daily/weekly sequencing to protect bottlenecks.
  • Deliver on commitments to maintain strong service levels.
  • Lean & Continuous Improvement
  • Deploy Lean tools (A3/8D, standard work, 5S, visual management) to remove waste and variability.
  • Run CI events that reduce lead time, setup, touch time, and queue time; sustain gains with standard work and layered process audits.
  • Develop People & Culture
  • Coach shift supervisors and hourly teams; build skills in problem solving, standard work, and accountability.
  • Lead staffing, training matrices, cross training, engagement, recognition, and performance management.
