This is a Weekend Shift: 12 hours shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8:00am – 8:00pm and 4 hours shift on either Monday or Thursday The Radio Frequency Components (RFC) semiconductor facility operates 24/7 to deliver high-quality products that support the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Value Stream Lead to oversee and manage the weekend shift operations at our Andover site. This role requires strong leadership capabilities to ensure smooth operations, team performance, and adherence to production goals. The Value Stream Lead will directly manage supervisors who oversee 50 hourly employees and will provide leadership to support staff, including Process Engineers and Equipment Engineers in a multi-shift operation. This individual will have full management accountability in a fast paced and dynamic environment to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements in a multi-cell/multi-shift operation.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Production or Engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing teams in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
  • Proven ability to lead Lean/Six Sigma projects with measurable results in productivity, quality, or cost savings.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and manage resource allocation, production schedules, and workforce activities to meet operational objectives and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance employee engagement resulting in measurable gains in productivity and quality.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker for site operations during the weekend shift, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence among all employees
