As a Value Stream Assembly Supervisor, you are the heartbeat of the production floor. While our technicians build the hardware, you build the environment where they can succeed. You will lead a dedicated team through the daily rhythm of production, ensuring that safety, quality, and delivery targets are met. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or assembly environment is highly preferred.
  • Associate’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum (due to ITAR requirements).

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to foster a culture of safety and engagement.
  • Manage daily attendance, approve timecards, and ensure all team members adhere to RAM policies and Core Values.
  • Direct and coordinate the daily activities of your team to hit production goals and Takt times.
  • Ensure the flow of product meets customer delivery schedules.
  • Facilitate daily "Tier Huddles" to communicate performance metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) and set daily expectations for the team.
  • Accountable for training and development.
  • Manage cross-training matrices to ensure team flexibility and keep employee certifications current.
  • Serve as the first line of defense for production issues.
  • Collaborate with Management, Quality, Engineering, and Planning to resolve bottlenecks, material shortages, or non-conformances.
  • Champion the "fix it" mindset.
  • Facilitate problem-solving initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and support safety first-aid prevention.
  • Submit requisitions for materials/supplies and utilize ERP systems to track work orders and inventory.
