About The Position

The Valet is responsible for delivering exceptional professionalism and customer service by warmly welcoming members and guests upon arrival, promptly and safely parking their vehicles. Upon departure, the Valet ensures efficient service by retrieving vehicles quickly and offering a fond farewell.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and follow instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous valet experience in the private club industry is a plus.
  • Customer service and golf experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for efficient and friendly customer service providing warm welcomes as members/guests approach the drop off area, opening the door and providing a warm welcome.
  • Responsible for assisting members and guests exiting their vehicle ensuring all their needs are met and questions answered. Assist by giving directions as needed and when possible, escorting them to the location in the club they need to go to.
  • Must be able to operate both manual stick-shift and automatic vehicles, while practicing safe driving and taking responsibility for the vehicles of members and guests.
  • Responsible for securely maintaining keys in an efficient tracking system for ease of storage and retrieval upon departure.
  • Responsible for cleaning and always maintaining the driveway and entry areas so that it is uncongested, neat and debris free.
  • Responsible for assisting outside service staff and others as necessary by unloading/loading golf bags and other equipment, materials for private events, tournaments, and other functions.
  • Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
  • Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
  • Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
  • Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team’s success.
