About The Position

As a Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting guests as the first point of contact and providing superior guest service by parking and retrieving vehicles. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Driver's License and be 21 years of age
  • Having a proper, valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
  • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
  • Ability to work well in stressful situations
  • Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time.
  • the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Island Hospitality uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization in all municipalities where it is required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of local roads and routes to area attractions and points of interest

Responsibilities

  • Park and retrieve vehicles while providing great customer service
  • Open and close car doors while assisting with luggage or other belongings
  • Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot
  • Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
  • Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions
