We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Valet Attendant. An individual could be successful if they possess the following. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Valet Attendant is responsible for parking and delivering Hotel patron’s vehicles to and from the casino or hotel entrance. Valet Attendants are responsible for the safety of customer’s vehicles at all times. Always presents a friendly and professional image at the Hotel/Casino. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: Provides high level of quality service standards in Valet department on applicable shift. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. Provides impeccable guest service to all guests Opens the door of the car for the guest(s) in a professional manner at the main entrance of the hotel and assists to unload the luggage if any. Aids customers when exiting or entering the vehicle. Extends warm welcome and appreciation to every guest. Offers information regarding features of rooms, services of hotel and points of interest. Drives designated vehicles in a safe & courteous manner following established traffic or transportation procedures. Checks and notes any damage to vehicle prior to driving. Ensures that vehicles are locked and keys are returned to valet. Retrieves vehicles in a safe and timely manner, opening the doors for guests and thanking them for coming to Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort. Communicates with dispatchers by radio in order to exchange information and receive requests for passenger. Uses two-way radio for communication with other drivers, security, and management. Observes and reports any suspicious activity on Casino/Hotel Grounds. Removes or reports any obstructions or hazards on Casino /Hotel grounds/parking lot such as sharp objects, large items, or any other item that could cause damage to vehicles or cause injury to customers. Performs errands for customers or managers. Must be familiar with hotel products, events and promotion, selling the hotel to maximize hotel revenue. Follows established procedures and policies of the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.
