About The Position

The Vaccine and Medication Safety Nurse ensures the effective integration of current research, education, policies, guidelines, and procedures across the CentraCare Clinic system. This role collaborates with provider champions and committees to maintain consistent vaccine practices for both children and adults, while addressing variations in schedules, knowledge, clinical practice, and safety. The nurse monitors vaccine and medication safety reports to identify gaps and emerging trends in care and contributes to special work groups focused on influenza and other targeted vaccine initiatives. Schedule: Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud Day shift | Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $82,659.20 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience Salary range: $82,659.20 - $123,988.80 per year Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate Full-time benefits : Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required
  • Experience related to vaccine administration guidelines, schedules, storage requirements, and education
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
  • A valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage
