As the Vaccine Inventory Supervisor, you will play a central role in supporting clinic leads, community outreach teams, and healthcare providers in the management, monitoring, storage, handling, and reconciliation of vaccine inventory in alignment with the Vaccine for Children (VFC) and Vaccine for Adults (VFA) program requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal staff, VFC and VFA program representatives, and the Arizona State Immunization Information System to identify and implement quality improvements that reduce vaccine wastage and control expenditures. This position oversees vaccine operations across Public Health Immunization clinics, community outreach programs, the vaccine room, and partner providers, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, including those set by the Food and Drug Administration. In this role, you will maintain site requirements, manage inventory regulations, and participate in Arizona Department of Health Services VFC inspections. You will educate staff and medical partners on emergency and standard operating procedures for vaccine ordering, storage, handling, and transport, while designating responsible personnel for receiving and managing vaccine inventory. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, preparing required reports, resolving significant events such as temperature excursions, ensuring adequate medical supplies and transport equipment, and implementing corrective actions in accordance with CDC and ADHS guidelines. As a supervisor, you will oversee assigned staff, manage hiring and performance processes, provide training, and conduct regular meetings to assess staffing needs and workloads. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community health while leading a dedicated team—ideal for someone who thrives in a mission‑driven environment and is ready to take the next step in their public health career.
