About The Position

Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment. The Inventory Supervisor oversees all daily inventory control activities within a high‑precision aerospace environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing inventory movement, executing write‑offs and write‑ons, leading reconciliation processes, and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and quality standards. The Inventory Manager partners closely with Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive accuracy, reduce risk, and support overall operational performance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily inventory operations, including material receipts, put‑away, transfers, cycle counts, and adjustments.
  • Lead the execution of write‑offs and write‑ons, ensuring proper documentation, financial impact review, and approval workflows.
  • Oversee the inventory reconciliation process, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual audits.
  • Ensure accurate system transactions and alignment between physical inventory and system records (ERP/WMS).
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain adherence to customer and aerospace regulatory requirements related to material control, traceability, and documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records, reports, and evidence as required.
  • Collaborate with Quality on process compliance, material control procedures, and audit readiness.
  • Generate inventory accuracy reports, discrepancy logs, and reconciliation summaries for leadership.
  • Track inventory KPI performance (accuracy %, cycle count performance, aging, adjustments, shrinkage).
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, reduce losses, and increase efficiency.
  • Provide daily direction to inventory staff, ensuring consistent execution of all inventory processes.
  • Partner with operations leadership to support production needs, material availability, and workflow efficiency.
  • Train team members on proper material handling, transaction accuracy, documentation standards, and aerospace requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts in inventory management through Lean tools and process optimization.
  • Identify and implement improvements to inventory processes using Lean principles (5S, standard work, waste reduction).
  • Participate in Gemba walks, Kaizen events, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and process discipline throughout the operation.
