About The Position
USA Environmental is seeking a UXO Technician III to support an upcoming project in Sanderson, TX. The mobilization date is March 8, 2026 through March 24, 2026.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen unless exception approved by the U.S. Government
- Valid state driver’s license
- Ability to handle in a safe manner the vehicle assigned to drive within and in the vicinity of the site
- Graduate of a military EOD School of the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia, or Graduate of a UXO-TI Course or the EOD assistant’s course
- On-the-job training including, but not limited to familiarity with the process, procedures, and equipment (e.g., geophysical) used for conducting MEC-related activities
- Never been removed from a MEC assignment for personnel reliability reasons or unsatisfactory performance of duties, substantiated by official documentation
- Graduate of an OSHA-compliant (29 CFR 1910.120(e)(4)) 8-hour Management and Supervisor Training Course
- Eight (8) or more years of documented experience in performing range clearance operations. Experience may be a combination of both active duty military EOD experience and contractor MEC experience, but at least one (1) year of MEC-related experience is required if the individual is a graduate of EOD school. (Note: Credit for EOD experience in National Guard or Reserve Units will be based on the actual documented time spent on active duty, not on the total time of service).
