About The Position

Product & User Experience Design and optimize end-to-end onboarding flows for digital and connected health products. Translate complex technical or clinical processes into simple, linear, self-guided user experiences. Conduct heuristic reviews and friction audits to identify usability issues and failure points. Redesign workflows to minimize user errors and reduce reliance on live support or clinician intervention. Research & Architecture Review existing user data, feedback, and support trends to inform experience improvements. Benchmark competitor and industry best practices to establish usability and simplicity standards. Develop clear information architecture, task flows, and user logic for onboarding experiences. Visual & Interaction Design Create high-fidelity UI designs that align with brand, trust, and medical-grade standards. Apply accessibility best practices, including high-contrast interfaces, legible typography, and large touch targets. Design error-handling, help states, and recovery paths to guide users when issues occur. Prototyping & Handoff Build interactive prototypes to validate workflows with internal stakeholders. Produce development-ready design specifications, assets, and documentation. Collaborate with engineering teams to support accurate implementation of designs. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with product, engineering, clinical, and leadership teams to align on priorities and constraints. Support ongoing improvements post-launch through iteration, refinement, and design QA as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience designing user-centered digital products, onboarding flows, or application interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of usability principles and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
  • Ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive, self-guided user experiences.
  • Experience producing wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with designing for older or non-technical user populations.
  • Experience supporting remote-first or self-service product models.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting design handoff for engineering teams.
