Tanner is looking for a UX researcher to help charter both qualitative and quantitative data-driven recommendations to enhance our Culture Cloud platform. Culture Cloud is a unified suite of employee recognition applications and services that help employees thrive at work by connecting them to purpose, accomplishment, and each other. This UX Researcher will play a pivotal role in validating needs, establishing metrics, standards, and baselines, as well as collaborating on discovery & design activities across multiple teams (Product, Design, and Engineering team members). The UX Researcher provides a vital addition to ensure business objectives and outcomes are being met. Are you passionate about the problems you're solving for customers and end-users? Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior related field (i.e. human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science).
  • 2+ years professional experience in UX Research or Product Research — B2B/SaaS preferred.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating research design, execution, and outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in UX research methodologies — both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Experience with remote, moderated and unmoderated research and data collection.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical data and usage in supporting hypotheses.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design.
  • Strong sense of Empathy to unique client needs across different user archetypes.
  • Collaborative skillset to coordinate stakeholders and contributors.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, using both qualitative and quantitative methods, to understand user behaviors/needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure our product teams make user-centric, data-driven decisions.
  • Create and maintaining documentation, such as usability test reports, user research findings, and UX design evaluations, to track progress and share insights with team members and stakeholders.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and research, and applying them to improve the product's user experience.
  • Advocate for the importance of UX research within the company, helping teams understand when and how to best utilize research insights.
