UX Engineer Intern

Partnering with mentors across product, design, data, and engineering, you'll prototype and validate ideas, contribute to our design system, and translate research into polished, performant interfaces. Requirements
- This position requires current enrollment in a school or education program in which the individual is working towards a Master's in statistics, psychology, sociology, applied sciences, computer science or related field
- Obtain Master's in computer science, statistics, psychology, sociology, applied sciences or related field by 2027
- Previous Software Engineering internships
- Passion for solving user-experience problems / upleveling the quality of the Pinner experience
- Proficiency in a dynamic programming language such as JavaScript, CSS, C++, HTML, Python, Java, Go-we use a variety of programming languages and tools
- Ability to continually learn from your experiences
Responsibilities
- Take ownership over the completion and quality of your tasks and project while incorporating guidance from your mentor, manager, and peers
- Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end to help build the future of Pinterest
- Deliver code that is well-documented, tested, and operable
- Bridge design and engineering teams
- Communicate new ideas and opinions with candor as you grow both professionally and personally through learning and development opportunities
