ABOUT THIS ROLE
Revolutionizing the storytelling experience is part of an Audible UX Designer's daily work. You'll craft refined interface elements and improve usability for harmonious listening anytime, anywhere, on any platform – including iOS, Android, web, and Alexa. Like us, you're customer obsessed, and every decision you make will be shaped by your understanding and curiosity of the customer experience. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar design-related role experience
• Experience designing and delivering digital products that align customer needs and business goals; illustrated with a portfolio
• Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output in all deliverables
• Experience clearly communicating the basis of design decisions to stakeholders and responding effectively to feedback

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
• Experience in a range of design approaches, methods, and tools that you use to plan, concept, and prototype projects
• Experience delivering designs intended for a consumer market
• Familiarity with the latest design tools and awareness of their pros and cons
• Experience designing for AI-enabled features

Responsibilities

• Create innovative solutions for complex design challenges within an established strategic direction, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business requirements and technical constraints
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, business leads, and product management
• Create and refine user-centered designs through iterative prototyping, collaborating with researchers to test and validate solutions
• Proactively identify roadblocks and dependencies, recommending short-term solutions to keep initiatives moving forward
• Work across partner teams to meet goals and begin to mentor others
• Present ideas and visuals to senior leaders and broader teams for visibility
• Contribute to team goals and initiative metrics, understanding how your work impacts business outcomes
