About The Position

As a UX Designer for Shamrock Trading Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in shipping user experiences for our suite of digital products. Your primary focus will be to tactically enhance the usability, accessibility, functionality, and customer satisfaction for our logistics-focused digital ecosystem. We’re looking for a triple threat (UX, visual design, and user research) who can deliver intuitive, impactful design solutions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Behavioral Sciences, or Information Design, (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of applicable experience in UX/UI/Product design.
  • Proven knowledge of design processes, best practices, research methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated UI and visual design skills, and user-centered design principles with an understanding of accessibility and ADA guidelines.
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • An accessible portfolio demonstrating process, digital experience design, and visual skills.
  • A desire to improve processes, build career skills, design culture, and advocate for users.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business problems, product visions, and new concepts into design deliverables that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Design and ship deliverables ranging from low-to-high fidelity, including sketches, wireframes, user flows, journeys, annotated mockups, and clickable prototypes.
  • Maximize user empathy through research findings to effectively execute product roadmaps.
  • Maintain a user-centric and strategic mindset when working cross-collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Business partners.
  • Contribute meaningfully to a design culture that enhances consistency, innovation, camaraderie, and sparks joy for users.
