About The Position

Engineer UX Design Analyst Must Have Technical/Functional Skills UX experience, Design thinking, Figma, Strong visual design skills, Creating wireframes, HTML & CSS Roles & Responsibilities Lead meetings with users, clients, product sponsors and technology to understand project requirements Plan and perform UX research, define IA, user journeys, and create personas Identify metrics and data that can support decision-making, guiding tech partners where needed to add necessary metrics Work closely with users, stakeholders, business analysts, product managers and development teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, approaches, and solutions Follow customer's guidelines and frameworks for UI design Demonstrate strong visual design skills with a keen eye for usability, effectiveness, typography, color theory, and layout, translating complex concepts into visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces. Exhibit advanced proficiency in Figma, leveraging its capabilities for creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and maintaining design systems. Perform relevant testing to validate and inform design decisions Apply a positive and constructive attitude to all feedback Use and contribute to the approved design system Contribute to design standards and best practices Perform detailed handover to development teams, ensuring they have all they need to implement the designs Provide ongoing support to development, with regular UX review checkpoints ensuring quality and spec are as designed Keep up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations, and tools Ensure all designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibility Deliver on-time, identifying and managing risks to ensure timelines are met, and escalating where needed Identify and articulate design and technical conflicts between colleagues and/or local stakeholders and help to resolve these. Promote the value of UX within the wider organization Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Develop key software components and use your code as a teaching tool across the team for patterns and techniques. Host sessions for design and code review for stakeholders across the business. Improve engineering standards and process to improve team capabilities and efficiency.
