Engineer What this job involves? If you have building maintenance experience and want to work for a company that offers stability and growth, consider this exciting opportunity with us at JLL! We are seeking an Engineer to support our client's healthcare facility in Greensboro NC. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment controls, and plumbing, located in the interior and exterior of the building. You will regularly conduct a routine and ongoing assessment of the building systems operations. Perform tests, analyze data, and monitor the operation of all mechanical & electrical operating equipment. What is your day to day?

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED
Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes
1+ years of Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC experience

Nice To Haves

2+ years of related trade schooling or college
Experience with emergency backup systems (generators, UPS, etc.)
Experience with CMMS systems
Experience with basic hand tools

Responsibilities

Oversee, monitor, and repair the operation and make adjustments of refrigeration, heat exchanger, HVAC, electrical, emergency backup systems, and hot water systems; monitor operation, adjust, and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, and ventilating and water heaters; pumps, valves, piping, and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; record readings and make adjustments where necessary to assure proper operation of equipment.
Analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action as required. Performs preventive maintenance on all base building and critical system equipment necessary to complete the job, conducting immediate clean-up of work area, completing the preventive task sheet, returning tools to workshop, and unused supplies to storeroom, reporting any impending supply or material shortages to the facility manager
Install and repair plumbing/piping/tubing; wire single and three-phase motors; run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.; install and rebuild pumps and motors; install and rebuild air compressors; heat exchangers; replace bearings in all types of motors; replace seals on pumps; install and repair piping, valves, filters, hot water systems and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment.
Maintain tools and order supplies as required for installation and repairs. Keep logs, document equipment repairs, close work orders, track time accurately in reports, and provide timely and constant communication with the facility manager
Perform other engineering tasks typical of the Engineer role.
