Job Summary: The Utility Person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and stockroom areas, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring the overall upkeep of the restaurant. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Weekend availability required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
  • Must reside within 15 miles of DFW Airport
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check
  • Please bring two forms of identification for same-day fingerprinting and background processing
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass an FBI fingerprint background check to obtain an airport security badge
  • Two forms of valid, government-issued identification in excellent condition
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends
  • Availability to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is required
  • Reside within a 15 miles of DFW Airport
  • Must be at least 18 years or older to apply
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
  • 100% attendance expectation with the exception of approved time-off requests
  • Ability to stand and walk 100% of the time during the scheduled shift
  • Ability to be productive all hours of the scheduled shift and work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Ability to stand in one place for several hours.
  • Ability to reach above the shoulders and bend all hours of the shift.
  • Ability to ambulate through the entire square footage of the store assigned and/or airport as well as the employee parking lot.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greet each guest with a friendly, respectful, and welcoming demeanor. Offer assistance to all guest requests.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces. Clean and sanitize all areas regularly, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms.
  • Trash Management: Ensure all trash is emptied regularly and maintain cleanliness of trash areas.
  • Stock Management: Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock (First In, First Out - FIFO). Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
  • Food Preparation Assistance: Assist in food preparation as needed, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance issues to the manager on duty immediately.
  • Inventory Guidelines: Follow inventory guidelines as established for your designated location.
  • Safety and Security: Keep a diligent watch of the location and report any suspicious activity – call 911 if there is an emergency, robbery, or theft incident – never attempt to stop a robber.
  • Professional Conduct: Treat all co-workers with respect. Lead by example every day and follow all other critical policies, including INTEGRITY, SAFETY, and EFFICIENCY.
