Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our culinary team as a Utility Worker that performs a number of kitchen activities including dishwashing, pot and pan washing, general cleaning duties, and storing food and non-food supplies. This full-time/part-time position offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and no late nights, with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters? Ready to jump into a role that matters? Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing each day as a Utility Worker: Sets up dishes and pot washing areas. Scrapes, scrubs and prewashes pots, pans, utensils and dishes. Loads and runs all items through the dish machine. Must have the ability to read, write and speak English, understand measurements, make basic conversions, perform basic arithmetic, and follow basic oral and written instructions. Some bussing, dishwashing, general cleaning and/or stocking experience but will train. (Preferred) Ability to plan and organize work and to interpret instructions and standards.
