About The Position

The Utility Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks
throughout the Metal Paintline.  This position must be able to provide a wide
range of total preventative services focused on cleaning, inspecting, and
replacing components to ensure operational and system efficiency and continuity.

Requirements

• Pass pre-employment tests
• Work in a team environment with the ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner
• Manufacturing-related experience is required
• Strong understanding of maintenance procedures

Nice To Haves

• Strong mechanical aptititude preferred

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures
• Regular/dependable attendance required
• Flexibility of work hours including overtime
• Maintain paint equipment such as changing filters, cleaning and replacing nozzles, washing and draining tanks
• Perform viscosity checks and water tests
• Completed preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning overspray from booths and floors, checking filters for proper airflow, inspecting system for lubrication needs, safety checks, and documenting findings to monitor wear and tear
• Ability to rotate to other positions as needed
• Other duties may be assigned
