About The Position

The Budd Group is seeking a versatile Janitorial Utility Cleaner for the Piedmont Triad International (PTI) Airport. This role is perfect for a "jack-of-all-trades" professional who can seamlessly pivot between operating heavy floor machinery and maintaining the high-standard cleanliness of the airport terminal.

Requirements

1–3 years of professional janitorial or utility experience.
Must have experience with floor care equipment (scrubbers/buffers), but also be willing and able to perform standard cleaning tasks.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain cleaning machines (cleaning filters, changing pads/brushes).
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Must be a self-starter with a clean background to meet strict airport security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform daily janitorial tasks including pulling trash, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, vacuuming, and wiping down high-traffic terminal areas.
Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and specialized cleaning machinery as needed.
Responsible for your tools. This includes changing brushes, removing hair/debris from rollers, and ensuring equipment is cleaned and stored properly after every shift.
Complete deep-cleaning projects and other duties as assigned by the supervisor to keep the airport guest-ready.
