About The Position

The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Utility Services Engineer II - Infrastructure Support in the Department of Utility Services. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year. Under general supervision, plans, coordinates, and performs professional engineering activities relating to water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure for the Department of Utility Services; and performs related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • Four (4) years of responsible, diversified experience in a related engineering field
  • Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
  • Possession and maintenance of registration as a Professional Engineer with the State of Nevada OR the ability to obtain through reciprocity within the first six (6) months of employment if incumbent possesses registration as a Professional Engineer in another state
  • Possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license, as defined by NRS 483
  • Completed Employment Application
  • Supplemental Questionnaire
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) License
