About The Position

The Utility Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas, operating various tools and equipment as trained, and performing general cleaning duties. This includes moving, rearranging, and relocating furniture and equipment, stocking supplies, and cleaning walls, ceilings, and vents. The role requires familiarity with OSHA safety codes pertaining to chemicals and electrical equipment used in the department.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement is 21
• Knowledge of the processes of maintaining and caring for all types of flooring; Vinyl flooring, Concrete, Stamped concrete, Carpeted flooring and Marble flooring
• Ability to interact with others in a friendly, positive and courteous manner
• Able to tolerate chemicals, cleansers and solvents
• Ability to operate specialty equipment such as Scrubber, walk behind and ride on. Variable speed buffer, Carpet extractor and Scissor lift
• Must have valid Nevada driver's license

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain par levels of supplies in all porter closets
• Clean walls, ceilings and vents

• Perform other related duties as assigned
