About The Position
The Utility Porter is responsible for cleaning all public areas.
Requirements
- Previous carpet, hard floor care and equipment knowledge
- Minimum 1 year on the job experience
- Able to communicate in English
- 21 years or older
Responsibilities
- Shampooing carpets
- Stripping and waxing floors
- Polishing marble
- Operating sweepers, scrubbers, buffers, walk behinds and various other floor machines
- Pressure washing
- High cleaning and/ or dusting
- Emptying trashcans
- Cleaning ashtrays and replacing sand
- Picking up trash
- Cleaning glass
- Polishing metals
- Performing bio hazard clean-up
- Any other janitorial related duties as requested
