About The Position

Utility Technician Non-Exempt Purpose Deliver route-based pest control services to customers by inspecting properties, identifying pest problems, applying professional products, and designing effective control strategies. Ensure operational excellence through timely service, clear communication, and adherence to safety and compliance standards

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years of proven driving experience.
  • Successful completion of 30-day initial training (classroom and field) and earning minimum of two CEUs annually.
  • Ability to pass a seven-year criminal background check, substance abuse testing, and three-year motor vehicle report.

Nice To Haves

  • General household pest/rodent control license/certification based on regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in pest control, wildlife management, or related field.
  • Experience working in high-growth, or field-based environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned service routes and complete scheduled services.
  • Inspect properties, identify pest activity, and apply appropriate treatment methods.
  • Communicate with operations and customers to explain services, assess needs, and provide follow-up.
  • Apply products safely and in compliance with labels, PPE requirements, and company standards.
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and communicate results to customers and management.
  • Complete accurate, timely service documentation and system updates.
  • Maintain assigned vehicle, equipment, and tools in safe, clean, working condition.
  • Participate in required training and comply with driving, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support additional operational projects as assigned.
