About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate and maintain equipment to support plant operations Perform general labor tasks including cleaning, shoveling, and material handling Assist with routine inspections and basic maintenance of machinery Support production teams with loading, unloading, and transporting materials Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow procedures
- Ability to work a Night Shift Schedule
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work assignments
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment to support plant operations
- Perform general labor tasks including cleaning, shoveling, and material handling
- Assist with routine inspections and basic maintenance of machinery
