Requirements

• Understanding of all roles within the extrusion operating team.
• Willingness to cross-train and work in various press operations.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Physical capability to handle demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate all functions and positions of the extrusion press safely and efficiently.
• Rotate through roles such as Head Stretch, Saw Operation, Production Support, and Material Support based on production needs.
• Inspect production samples to ensure they meet customer specifications.
• Load the press correctly to prevent damage and downtime.
• Perform routine operator maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Use basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
