About The Position
Ripple Effect Consulting (REC) is seeking Construction Inspectors to support municipal sanitary sewer projects in the St. Louis area. This is a field based role focused on inspecting construction activities and documenting progress to ensure work aligns with project plans and specifications.
Requirements
- 1 to 5 years of construction inspection or related field experience preferred
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Comfortable working outdoors on active job sites
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Sanitary sewer or municipal infrastructure experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform field inspections on sanitary sewer infrastructure projects
- Inspect pipe installation, manholes, services, and related sewer components
- Observe pressure testing, leakage testing, disinfection, and commissioning activities
- Complete daily inspection reports and photo documentation
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve field issues
- Monitor construction progress and promote jobsite safety
