Work Shift: Second Shift - Manchester (United States of America) Work Shift Time: 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM Job Objective: Maintain workflow of operation by keeping operators stocked with WIP and raw materials. Maintain inventory accuracy by performing inventory transactions on the computer WIP stations. Print ID labels for finished product being sent to RTS. Perform other duties as assigned. Flange finished rolls of material that have been processed on the Rotec or Dual Rotec machines. Perform other duties as assigned. This is a temporary position lasting 1-2 years Essential Job Functions: Commitment to Safety Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Promotes a culture of safety within the organization by leading by example and encouraging others to prioritize safety. Promptly reports any safety incidents or near-misses to the appropriate personnel and contributes to the investigation process. Active participation in safety-related programs and initiatives is required as necessary. This includes involvement in the safety committee on a rotating schedule, as well as participation in Risk Assessments, Exposure Hunts, department inspections, and change management activities. Supply operators with necessary materials in order maintain machine uptime capability. Utilize schedule and have knowledge of WIP material flow. Package and move finished product from one operation to the next. Operate core-cutting equipment. Operate pallet jacks. Operate automatic box sealer. Verify finished product to specification. Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly manner. Process customer returns. Make Cross-Wound spools for slitters and blockers. Repackage customer returns. Enter WIP moves into the computer system. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Full time presence required. Ability and willingness to be cross trained in any other functions as required or requested. Excellent attendance required. Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends. Additional tasks as assigned. Job Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret written instruction. Complete basic paperwork Perform data entry. Good dexterity and hand eye coordination. High school diploma or GED.
