About The Position

Harvey Vogel Manufacturing Co, a leader in metal stampings, has an immediate opening for a Utility Forklift Driver at their Woodbury location. The company is privately/family-owned with more than 200 employees and has been in business for over 75 years. They offer competitive salary and benefits packages. The position is for 2nd shift hours (Monday - Thursday 3:15pm - 1:45am). The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse setting.

Requirements

• Experience in shipping, receiving, and materials handling
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts such as cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and order pickers
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, OSHA regulations, and ERP/MRP systems
• Strong mathematical skills for inventory management
• Resourceful, proactive, and focused on process improvement

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
• Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting all material movements
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
