Utility Driver
About The Position
The Utility Driver is responsible for packaging, loading, and delivering house-made products from the kitchen and bakehouse to retail locations using a commercial van. This role also involves assisting with the assembly and packaging of simple sandwiches and salads for delivery. The position requires a committed schedule including early mornings, mid-shifts, weekends, and holiday shifts to meet retail demands. The work environment is a professional kitchen, bakery, and retail grocery store, involving frequent and extended periods of packaging, loading, and driving products between the commissary (Hub) and retail stores.
Requirements
- Verifiable work experience with excellent tenure and attendance
- Exceptional work ethic, organizational skills, efficiency and dedication to quality
- Delivery, warehouse, or food service experience
- Attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform tasks as assigned
- Ability to read and speak English and perform basic arithmetic problems
- “Clean” driving record and ability to be insured by our underwriters
- State of Iowa driver’s license
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Enthusiasm for working in fast-paced creative environment
