The Utility Worker washes and sanitizes all dishes, pots and pans, and food preparation equipment, Empties kitchen garbage and trash. Maintains all equipment, walls, and floors in a clean and sanitary condition. Transports food carts to satellite dining rooms throughout the facility. Responsibilities

Washes and sanitizes all dishes, pots and pans, food carts, and food preparation equipment.
Empties kitchen garbage/trash and sanities containers as needed.
Sweeps, mops, and foams kitchen floors.
Maintains cleanliness of all walls in kitchen and serving areas.
Maintain cleanliness of all floor mats
Transports food carts to satellite dining rooms throughout the facility.
Responsible for maintain the cleanliness of all food carts.
Responsible for maintain a clean and organized dish room.
Does regular cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment including oven and ranges.
Assist in moving heavy equipment and furniture when needed.
Assist in setting up buffets and special functions events.
Acts as runner backing up food trays and dishes for buffets and special event functions.
Assist in kitchen when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
