About The Position

The RiverCentre in downtown St. Paul is hiring immediately for a Utility Cook. This position assists with the preparation of menu items along with other duties.

Requirements

  • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of walking, squatting and reaching, and lift or move up to 50 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for garnishes, salads and cold plates.
  • Portion and arrange food on serving dishes and trays, and add garnishes according to menu specifications.
  • Transport food items, china and equipment between work areas and catering service areas.
  • Assists at breakdown stations during functions.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of storerooms and coolers.
  • Assists dishwashing staff with cleaning dishes, and cleans kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Loads and/or unloads trucks picking up or delivering food or supplies.
