Job Description Key Responsibilities 1. Maintain chip, mist, and filtration system areas, keeping floors clean and free of oil, debris, and clutter 2. Process chips, brass fines, used filters, scrap barrels, and waste materials 3. Maintain scrap collection drums, metal bins, and barrel storage areas 4. Operate and maintain floor scrubber and support general housekeeping across the department 5. Keep aisles, common areas, unattended machine areas, and workstations clean and organized 6. Maintain machine drip pans and containment systems below capacity 7. Support parts washer operations, including loading areas, conveyors, drip pans, and surrounding floors 8. Operate forklift and crane as required to move scrap, materials, and heavy attachments 9. Perform machine cleanouts, including coolant removal, chip and sludge processing, conveyor removal and reinstallation 10. Assist with cycle counts, chip pan processing, and scrap tracking 11. Provide operator and setter support, including: 1. Stocking machines 2. Cleaning collets 3. Maintaining fluid levels 4. Minor repairs 5. Learning-based quality checks (not responsible for final product quality) Qualifications Qualifications 1. High school diploma or GED preferred 2. Manufacturing, industrial, or utility experience preferred 3. Mechanical aptitude required (ability to remove covers, hoses, operate pumps, and perform basic tasks) 4. Forklift and crane experience preferred (training available) 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $47,860 USD - $54,912 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
