About The Position

Our client is a contract precision metal manufacturer compnay delivering metal components to Fortune 500 companies. They are seeking an Amada Laser / Amada EMLK set-up operator to work the Second Shift at our St. Paul, MN facility. Responsibilities include the set up and operation of Amada Lasers and Amada EMLK punch/laser combo machine.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Good math and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to be or become fork truck certified.
• Willingness to work in other areas as needed.
• Good attendance and punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed
• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a drug test

Nice To Haves

• 3 + years Laser or Punch/Laser experience is preferred.
• Experience with an Amada Laser or Amada EMLK (laser/turret combo with tower) a plus but not required
• Ability to set-up and produce jobs efficiently
