Utility Assembler on Second shift

This position requires a strong aptitude for learning and a positive attitude! The Utility Assembler position promotes cross training opportunities to help you advance your career at Oakworks. The more areas employees train in, their pay rate increases! Starting at $22.50/hour Train in 3 areas- receive $1.00/ hour increase Train in 5 areas- receive an additional $.50/hour Train in 8 areas- receive an additional $.50/hour
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
- Must be able to demonstrate mechanical ability (Read Drawings, Assemble Electrical & Mechanical Components, and Validate Quality)
- Ability to communicate and work with multiple departments.
- Ability to sit/walk/stand for extended periods of time on a daily basis
- Ability to lift/reach/bend/stretch in manufacturing environment
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time on a daily basis
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Nice To Haves
- Medical product development or other regulated assembly industry experience is preferred.
- Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes with machining and fabricating experience preferred.
