About The Position

The City of Seabrook is seeking a Utilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and participate in the repair and maintenance of the City's water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and direct water and sewer crews. Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on water and wastewater systems, tanks, pumps, hydrants, and wells. Handle employee evaluations, training, and discipline. Respond to customer concerns regarding leaks, usage, or sewer issues. Ensure compliance with TCEQ, TDH, and EPA regulations. Collect and deliver water samples for testing. Prepare monthly reports for the Utilities Superintendent. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training preferred. 1-3 years of experience in water/wastewater system operations. Valid Texas driver's license. Wastewater Class "C" or Class "II" Collections License. Water Operator Class "C" License. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Work Environment: Indoor/outdoor setting with exposure to weather, noise, dust, and heavy equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb, and work in physically demanding conditions.
