Role Snapshot Picture your day starting with a safety huddle where personal safety, food safety, and product quality set the tone. You review overnight utilities performance, walk the floor to check in with your technicians, and align with cross-functional peers. From there, you assign work, confirm resources and schedules, and jump in hands-on when the situation calls for it. You are the go-to technical voice for utilities, balancing leadership and execution in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. What You'll Lead and Deliver Uphold rigorous standards for personal safety, food safety, and product quality; engage daily with your team and functional peers. Provide day-to-day direction for utilities technicians: assign tasks, monitor progress frequently, and maintain clear schedules. Mentor technicians, build skills, and support their growth while contributing your own hands-on work as a working leader. Meet deadlines and complete both planned and unplanned utilities/maintenance work safely, effectively, and on time. Leadership in Action Coordinate multiple people across multiple tasks quickly and effectively in a dynamic production setting. Model servant leadership with maintenance and production teammates. Act as the facility’s key technical expert for utilities when needed. Plan and schedule maintenance activities efficiently using available resources. Champion a strong customer-service mindset toward production, quality, and all internal partners. Coach employees toward established organizational objectives. Professionally manage competing priorities constrained by time, people, and equipment availability. Work Schedule Weekend work or overtime may be required based on business needs. Other duties as assigned.
