UTHS strives to help and assist students as they move along their educational pathways. As a proud member of the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin, UTHS works to fill “gaps” in the Texas educational landscape and thrives in the service to others. This position requires fingerprinting and successful completion of a background check. The social worker at UTHS will work with both 9-12th grade students and adult learners to increase social, emotional, and academic success. This position will work in collaboration with the high school and adult learner programs to increase student engagement and monitor and support the social, mental, and emotional well-being of our students. Additionally, this position will help maintain a support staff to work with and support students in our programs. After a successful probationary period, this position may be eligible for Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA).
