About The Position

CACI is seeking an On-Site Logistics Representative to support a large US Navy program in Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities: Integrate spectrum of logistics processes within operational, acquisition and wholesale environments Direct integrated logistics processes, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance including internal control measures Prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support, and establish and enforce standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment Providing CDM maintenance/modernization support as needed Perform sight validation of logistically significant equipment in support of availabilities, installations, inquiries, CMAVs, PMAVs and RMC/NSA installs. This requires the use of CDMD-OA Validate any equipment requested by the designated Homeport PMR/OSLR Supervisor. All Medical, Dental, Galley, Laundry equipment must be validated Perform emergent work validations identified during availability work item reviews (i.e. during ‘repair or replace’ decision) Process all Validation Aids (VALAIDs) completed on a weekly basis directly into CDMD-OA or submit weekly work files to the CDM. Interface with the following and provide support as needed: PMS501, LCSRON, Ship’s 3M Coordinator, Ship’s Supply Officer, CDM, Naval Supporting Activities (NSAs), Regional Maintenance Centers, Life Cycle Managers, Validation Team, In Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs) and Type Commander Personnel. Provide direct assistance to ship’s force and Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs) concerning logistics requirements, outside of CNO availabilities, including research and resolution of Preventative Maintenance System (PMS), spares/NTCSS, Support and Test Equipment, Technical Documentation, CASREP resolution, and training as required. When specifically tasked, identify, collect, categorize, and submit modernization metric data to NAVSEA, for trend analysis and issue resolution Provide suitable subject matter expert representation to Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) meetings, Weekly Production Meetings for ships in availability and other modernization/maintenance planning conferences; raise logistical issues to the ILSMT Support PMS501L tracking of “caveats” against installed ship changes with incomplete ILS. Prepare and submit Availability Reports IAW NAVSEAINST CDM-001 Submit electronic CDMD-OA work-files documenting equipment sight validations. Develop and deliver reports and prepare metrics as required. Provide Status Reports for ships in Modernization Availabilities to NAVSEA, and others as required. Provide status reports for all other ships in availability and undergoing WOO installations as required.

Requirements

  • Must have an active DOD Secret security clearance.
  • 3-5 years logistics experience (operational/maintenance) required.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • If not already certified, shall be capable of becoming a certified NAVSEA21 Program Manager Representative On-Site Logistics Representative (PMR/OSLR)
  • Excellent coordination, teaming, organizational skills, and effective presentations skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple/competing priorities and meet schedule demands
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret NAVSEA Installation drawings and other technical documentation
  • Experience with Configuration Data Manager Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA)
  • Proficient in use of personal computers and associated software; including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone communications skills required
