About The Position
The Usher will safely and courteously escort venue guests to their seats and will assist with the operation of events.
Requirements
- Must be outgoing and able to provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to adhere to a schedule, arrive on time for events and stay for the duration of events
- Must be able to successfully complete provided on-the-job training
- Ability to learn venue layout and operating guidelines
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Greets guests and assists them in finding their seats
- Assists guests with locating exits and amenities such as restrooms and food & beverage locations
- Assists any ADA guests or any other special needs to and from their seats
- Ensures all walkways, aisles and designated seating areas are clean and free of debris
- Calmly assists with disputes involving tickets and seats
- Assists with guest complaints or concerns and reports to management
- Monitors events for unruly behavior and reports to management
- Watches for safety or security issues and reports to management
- Assist and transport guests as needed around the facility during event
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned by management
