Innovative Systems, Inc. is looking for an entry-level User Experience Designer to work at our world headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for all phases of the design process - from initial research to high-fidelity prototypes for existing product redesigns and new product offerings. Our ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of the user design process and be well-versed in design research methodologies and technologies. They will be a user advocate; someone who is able to see the product from the experience of the user and then alter their design accordingly. Additionally, they will be outgoing, personable, and able to speak intelligently with users and stakeholders alike. They will be comfortable with receiving feedback and constructive criticism and passionate about creating elegant, user-centered solutions. Location: Based at our World Headquarters located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently the team is working a flexible hybrid schedule, working in the office 2 days a week and remote 2 days a week. As a UX designer at Innovative, you will play an essential role in our product design. You will conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translate them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes. You will design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a positive user experience. In addition, you will be part of promoting a user-centered culture throughout Innovative, helping to create ways to put the users of our products first.
