The UX Designer executes end-to-end UX design processes to ensure the user experience through TNC’s marketing properties are engaging, accessible and easy to use. They conduct research, strategize user-centered designs, and support efforts around implementation and testing. They will bridge strategy and design and always think holistically to keep user experience top of mind. The UX Designer supports the ongoing optimization strategies across The Nature Conservancy’s digital marketing and communication properties. They act as a member of the Marketing Technology team to deliver web system projects and help and mitigate risks of TNC’s growing digital universe. This includes TNC’s flagship websites, nature.org and conservationgateway.org; fundraising platforms; email; and other digital marketing products. They conduct user research and testing, map user flows and journey, optimize website features, gather business and user requirements, prototype wireframes, report bug issues, and validate releases to ensure the user experience is a smooth and intuitive interaction. They are responsible for implementing ongoing efforts to ensure TNC’s digital properties meet web accessibility standards, brand experience, and functional usability. They also support the efforts of architecting the back-end authoring experience of components used on nature.org. They provide resources and learnings to other marketers in various forms of trainings to scale insights around best UX practices. Travel is required for business meetings and/or team retreats.
